ABA Therapy for Children and Adults
“Play is the work of childhood”

Play-Based ABA therapy for young learners
Learning should be fun! At Aspen ABA we believe in using a child’s play to teach them. By being interested in what they’re interested in, engaging in their play, and following their lead we are able to create a joyful and fun-filled therapeutic relationship.
Common skill areas include:
Communication: from increasing vocal communication to learning an alternative method of communication
Social skills
Coping skills
Play and leisure skills
Alternatives to challenging behaviors
Life skills: handwashing, toilet training, dressing, hygiene
Aspen ABA does not endorse methods of ABA therapy that utilize interventions that purposely or inadvertently cause discomfort, frustration, or are not neurodivergent-affirming. If a staff member observes that a learner is not happy during therapy, it is our goal to help the learner return to a state of comfort and contentedness before continuing therapy.
Motivation based learning for tweens through adults

Social skills
Vocational skills including on site job support

Coping skills
